We had to do it!

Some of our larger customers haven't bought a trash bag or yard bag in years! We found that if we covered our chairs in super heavy duty clear plastic bags, they would arrive with nary a blemish, never chafing against the cartons. These bags of course served an excellent second purpose around the house. Well we discovered that not only our customers could enjoy these bags but also their great grandchildren. With an eye to depriving future generations, we now have a bag made substantially of corn. It degrades in sunlight and under continued mechanical stress. It should disappear in about two to three years. This was a bit of a technological breakthrough as we did have to work with our packaging guy to keep lightening the green tint. (Our shipping department couldn't see the fabric through the bag). We apologize to our customers that they will now have to buy trash bags and, no, it is not true that we are taking kick-backs from Glad.
